Well, here it is!

I generally don’t expend a lot of effort getting interviews.  The process itself can be quite time-consuming, and most times I’d rather spend in conversation with the varied and fascinating members of the H.O.R.N. family.

This, however, is different. Tony Bourdain, author, teevee personality and world traveler will join us this evening.  Without being overtly political, his recently released book “Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook” is a joy to read and ponder.  The pondering, you’ll find, takes much more time than the reading.  There’s SUBSTANCE here, without all the snotty pretensions of folks who aim to deliver “substance.”  In a world of “reality” television, Anthony Bourdain delivers something much more rare: honest information delivered as honestly as television can.

I don’t generally do “celebrity” interviews.  You know that.  That I wanted Mr. Bourdain on the show says more than that I’m a fan.  It says I think he’s got something to say that bears hearing.  It says I think it will be, in fact, “conversation radio.”
